Being sacked

Which one is better: being sacked by six to eight mermen or befriending one?
The answer is: befriend easily.
Why? Because there are problems in being sacked?

Legend tells it that the mermen have different styles. The ones from Flapjack don't eat candy and are tough and are known to look similar.
